I've been neglecting my blog for months and now finally during winter break, i can have some blogging. It's my studies that made me don't want to blog cause I'm always writing tons of words for freaking thousands words essays. But now, it's all over before next semester starts.

There's too much happening this year. Lots of unpredictable things happened in my life, though there are some joyful moments yet the worst came at a pretty bad timing. IT SUCKS! But hopefully everything will be better starting from now! *finger crossed*

Studies are okay~ Some are good and some are bad, it made me even confuse for what I've been studying in Melbourne. The life here is good, and of course I miss Malaysia too! My family and friends, they're precious and I love them forever I swear. Although many people thinks that 'wow, it must be real fun studying overseas!' but the truth doesn't seem to be what people imagined. Yes, I went out a lot, met lots of friends but they are not just what they seem. I studied, library, books, essays, failed assignments, and there's lot more happening.

I went back to Malaysia for a week before final essays due, it's for my grandma, she passed away and I'm so so so sorry that I can't even see her before she leave us. I'm so sad! But I'm glad that I went back to help out but seriously I'm very sad! May she rest in peace, you know I love you grandma!

Another happy thing was meeting my lovely friends! Sorry I came back in a rush and can't meet some of you. Thanks for Greenies and Lock Yi who celebrated my 21st birthday at KL, I'm so touched! I love you girls so much, you girls made me realised the meaning of true friends. Although we seldom see or chat but we know that when anyone of us have problem, we are there for them! Thank you so much!

Then I flew back to Melbourne with my parents, they were here for my birthday! They booked the flight 1 year ago and I know that it's for me! Thank you and love you both... But not for the after birthday part, it's horrible and terrible! Well, as long as everything is fine, I'll always love you both no matter what happened! Dad and mum, I'm glad to be your daughter so better don't mess things up! BONG KANGS!!!!

There really too much happening in the past few months, I'm exhausted! I feel like travel alone to somewhere with my backpack and just being alone, without any things in mind!!!

Back again

It's been 2 months since my last post, been busy and lazy to write things about my life and I don't know why. Maybe because I've been through lotsa things in year 2009, mainly sad things but I had overcome them! I gonna move on no matter how and I've learnt a lot more, lessons I think...

First thing I need to tell everyone is that the journey to South Africa was amazing, I wouldn't ever regret about this life changing decision. Thanks a lot to my parents and I love them so much that words could't describe my feelings for them. The trip was fun, I've met a lot of strangers that later on became friends. I'll meet them in Australia when I'm back and continue to keep out relationship since the SA trip. Though they had met up couple times that I couldn't join them because I'm in Malaysia, but I hope that there will be more cath ups when I'm back there. Overall the trip was freaking awesome! I love it very much and wanted to do it again in the future, if my parents support me finiancially or maybe get my own support. Will see how! I love South Africa as it is, a beautiful yet complicated country.

Chinese New Year is still on the road to it's 15th day and I'll be flying back to Melb on the 14th of Chinese calender. To be honest, I prefer my younger days of CNY while we went house by house and gather almost everyday. Maybe we had our own new friends, maybe I'm too far away to keep in touch or watsoever, I'm kinda lazy to take the initaitive to meet up with everyone, I'm the one who's waiting for calls and dates. That's why my CNY days in Kuantan is kinda bored. Fortunately I still met up with my fellow primary and secondary classmates and some lovely family members and friends that didn't meet up for ages. That's the important part of the reunion of CNY. Without these meet ups, CNY wouldn't be the same. I still miss Kuantan a lot though the sun is burning my skin every moment I'm under it. Oh God, it would be nicer without the not-so-friendly sun. For now if someone ask me weather I'll be back Kuantan after my studies in Aus, I'll be thinking without an answer. Because there's no place like home no matter how good Melb is, so please don't ask me now if I'll stay in Melb after uni, ask me when I'm graduating.

Travel with a purpose

I've always always always wanted to do this! Just that Malaysia is not really exposed to these kinda traveling with a purpose stuff and I don't know where to find from M'sia. Australia gave me the chance to be a part of this and I'm so excited about it! I love traveling and travel with a purpose makes my trip even unforgettable ~~I hope~~!

I'm back in Malaysia for more than two weeks now. I've been busy being with my family and having gathering with friends. It's good to be back in the most familiar place on Earth, but again, I've learnt a lot studying overseas alone (then not alone staying with my brother).

People come and go in my life, I noticed that phase long long time ago and its repetitive occurrences just made me grow more mature. I learn to let go, learn to look forward, learn that true friends are always there for me, most of all - my loving family. Thank you so much for being there when I needed u all. Muakks!

I'm being such a difficult daughter to my parents and thanks to them again for their supportive spirit in no matter what I wanted to do. I knew that I let them worry me a lot because I'm such a risk taker and outgoer. Going to South Africa means a lot to me (though I'm going soon, it's a 'not yet'). It'll be hard not to worry me though I always told them not to worry, your daughter is old enough to handle things herself. It's my first time leaving them behind and travel alone to a far away country for a month with strangers. Even my 'steady' dad tole me many times to take good care while travelling in S.Africa. I will, I promise! And thanks for giving me this opportunity to go there.

Friends as well, not to worry! I'll be back healthy and in good condition. LOL. So back to the point, I'm going to South Africa with International Student Volunteer (ISV). I'll be volunteering for two weeks in Chintsa (Volunteer Africa 32' South) and two weeks travel across South Africa. Will be back on the 31st Dec for new year celebration. During Dec, I'll disappear for a month, without phone calls and limited Internet access. I will try my best to update myself to my family and friends whenever and wherever I have access to the Internet. Say Good Luck to me! Definitely, I'll have FUN! =)

I was busy, damn busy past two weeks with Chinese Theater Group (CTG) production THUNDERSTORM 雷雨... Although I was exhausted and felt like zombie but I still like it in some ways...

I've learn a lot from this production, not just only the extraordinary "old people" make-up, but all of it... I've met many nice people there and I like them! This was my first time involved in a theater show and I can feel the hectic of everything going on behind-the-scene... I'm one of them, the costume and make-up crew of CTG...

Back to the production... Honestly, it's my first time to know about Thunderstorm. My bad... It's a really famous story by a famous writer in China. Wikipedia it if u wanna know more... =p

it's been almost a month since i updated my blog... hehe...
kinda busy with my life and uni and assignments and friends and groups and lotsa things going on!

so in a nut shell, i'm good! thank you... =p

summary of what i did when i'm back in Melb (a month)

1. Prepare for lectures & tutorials, so my subjects are:

Understanding Asia (compulsory)
Creative Project - Digital Technologies (breath "outside Arts dept.")
Culture, Media & Everyday Life
Art History

2. Joined Chinese Theater Group and will be having shows on early Sept, i'm in the make-up and costume dept. Doing make-up for a 47yo (20+) cast, so i draw wrinkles!

3. Hang out with friends for dinner and lunch

4. Never ending assignments and weekly readings (but it's much relaxing this sem, cz i'm quite into these subjects)

5. Went out with bro n his gf (botanic garden, shopping, photographing around Melb)

6. Watched Chinese Music Group - The Puppets

7. Having dinners in friends' house

8. Had recommended pan cakes (forgot the place)

9. Had Japanese seafood platter

10. Need to write a weekly blog for one of my subject

11. Watched movies - The Ugly Truth (kinda funny), Sunset Boulevard (black n white), 17 Again, Difance, G.I Jane and more

12. Had instant noodle competition - best taste (Jap instant noodle)

13. Going to Grampians tomorrow =)

i think these were some activities in a month since i'm back... it's kinda lazy to manage two blogs (this n uni blog)... but i'll try to update k! hehe...

my winter break

time past really fast, next Friday I'll hop back to Melbourne again to begin my second semester. I hope it will be better than the previous one, more excitement i mean... haha...

I've been going out every single day, to almost everywhere... pubs, clubs, karaoke, malls, cafes, restaurants, mamaks and more... sleep around 4am in the morning and wake up every 10am for breakfast... it's tiring and my black circles are getting bigger, but it's fun... talking with friends the whole night and walking with my parents after dinner, it's my usual life here... although i admit that I've been way too often going out late night and coming back home early morning and drinking very often, but i only do this in my home country and with full control of myself, nothing beyond that... =p

my instax mini collection is countless now, applause!!! hahhaaha... they're so cute and so so memorable!! i hope that i can hang them on my wall as a decoration (only when i got my own house) they're to precious to be destroy... no-way!!! i wonder how my smile would be in 10 years time looking back to these mini photos...

hell yea, i passed all my subjects... thank god!!! 3 P and a H1, not bad la... at least i didn't fail any... fyi, my next semester time table was out too, I'll not having any early morning classes and that means i can sleep late and wake up late... so I'll be able to meet my friends online more often! hehe... good news right?

I'm happy to be back, be along with my family and friends... thank you so much who met me, I really enjoyed every moment of your accompaniment... I think my next trip back to m'sia would probably be January next year... aww~~~ that's really far away... nvm, we'll keep in touch!

Will be going kl this weekend for a last last hang out with my friends!! Beware of H1N1!!!! lols... It's just 2.38am, still early for me... haha... but i think i better get more sleep!! So good night my loves~~

It's been awhile since my last post, too much had happened and it make me think a lot... Life still carry on no matter how... Need to thanks my friends for being there for me, telling me I still have u all there supporting me all the time... I know who my true friends are... XOXO + APPRECIATION!

I have moved to stay with my eldest bro, with his girlfriend and a dog, I think u all should know that already... Life's been much happier staying there, I really meant MUCH! I don't mind to spend more time on traveling to uni next semester onwards as long as I'm happy... Yup, some of my friends know what I've been suffering at there: study + friends = stress! They said I've changed, to a person not like me, a sad person with lots of tears there... But I'm okay now, no more worries! I'm totally fine and back to normal, I promise!

My 20th birthday celebration there! Thanks for the wishes!! Thanks for dinner, cake, presents and everything. I'm really happy! I've enjoyed two celebration, one on the 19th June counting down in my Japanese friends' house, they did birthday decoration for me. I'm touched... Steamboat dinner, cake, presents and photos! Then the next day, dinner again at a Italian + Spanish restaurant near city. Thanks for attending and the presents! Really nice to meet u all in Melbourne! =) Last but not least, M'sia friends who wished me through the Internet and mobile messages! Love ya all~~ *muakss*

Exam had finished and right on that night, I'm wearing a mask, suffering 8 hours back to M'sia... Erm... Ask me how's my exam? Okay gua, I hope that I can pass la.. Haha... 1 of my subject is already out, got an H1 for music subject if I'm not mistaken, need to confirm when final result releases on 9th of July. Pray for my other subjects, I just need a P for pass... All that I can hope is passing all my subjects and next semester will be better for me! Truthfully, I am stress with my studies (1st time I felt stress in academic stuff), my right shoulder was so tight that I can't even straighten my hands to the back... It's painful and I think I need a massage!! Additionally, I'm fatter! Really, cz I've been eating a lot, stress + cold weather + nice food.. What to do? =p I've joined Chinese Theatre Group and Fotoholics, looking forward for the fun! This is how uni life should be, I'll start enjoying my uni life to the fullest!

Back in KL, I had friends came from Kuantan to have time with me in KL. Really thank you Catherine, Siew Yan and Jesse! Muakss... Met all my lovely friends and really nice to see them... Tight hugs and kisses were the warmest thing I had, almost made me cry. I really had fun with them. Lots of karaoke, shopping, clubbing, eating and walking on streets 4am in the morning! I went almost to all the popular malls in KL and driving up and down from Sunway to Setapak and to Gotong Jaya. Going back 5am in the morning almost everyday, bath, sleep and again. I'm exhausted but I'm happy! For those whom I didn't get to meet, I'll see u all soon (I hope)

Met my parents finally... Haha... I've been a bad girl staying at KL first and haven't had the chance to see them... Met my milk milk for movie and yc, meeting others very soon too... I miss Kuantan food. Btw, I've been eating mamak all the times cz I really miss mamak!! Haha.. No joke, I ask my friend take me to nice mamak all the time! Ordeing mee mamak, nasi lemak, teh o ais limau and milo ais... Till now, Kuantan is still not done yet, will be spending weeks here before I'm heading back to Melbourne... Everyone asked me about H1N1 and scare that I'm having it... The funny part is my grandma called twice ask me not to visit her cz of H1N1, OMG!!! If I really had that influenza, I'll be spreading big cz I've been going out meeting tons of people in KL.. Haha.. So do be afraid! LOL

Went to Ikea today with bro and Mia (bro's gf) and buy stuff for our new house... They moved here already but I'm still staying in the city... I spend my first weekend here... Decorating my room!! wakakaka....

I just bought some things from Ikea and decorate a little cause I love decorating.. hehe... it makes me happy~~ so here are some photos of my room... still very empty cause all my stuff are not here yet... so it's still a tidy room.. soon?? I'm not so sure.. haha.. better let u all see the tidy side first...

it's a book rack, gonna fill with stuff soon!! and I'm thinking of putting a poster up there... maybe a blue blue beach + sky = island, cz i bought some poster from uni...

This is my bed, just bought the small little blue pillow and fleece from Ikea... yea, yea... and the little plant... cute!!! need something green.. haha...

I wanna shout out loud first for this very sad moment!!

"I'm gonna pass my 20th birthday here in Melbourne!!"

dunno why 20 is a favorite number of mine, maybe it's because my birthday on the 20th,that's why i wish that my birthday can be a very memorable 1.. but aih.. will see~~

When I finally check my exam timetable, i really stone there. All the while I'm so wishing that my exam will be at early June, so that I can go back longer and earlier and celebrate my birthday there as well... Too sad i can say, too sad. It's on the freaking last 3rd day and I only have 1 bloody exam! WTF la~ But think of the other side, I have plenty time to study before exam and I need to get use to it too, my birthdays here... need to get use to it soon... T___T

The timetable releases today, 4th May. I'm checking since last midnight when the clock hits 12am!! Apparently it doesn't work that way.. Haha.. so this morning the first thing I did when I woke up is to check it first hand and I'm so so so so so disappointed!

Other than that, I'm happy today. Can say it's the best day for me since I'm in Melbourne. Cause I'm going back soon... Never think of going back will be this happy. I finally can see my parents, family and friends!! So happy!! I don't know what other words to describe dy... I'm smiling when walking back from uni just now, today just nice, good, or even lovely in a way. I met my cimp friend too and we were planning going back together so that we won't be so bored in the plane... Hope so though... =)

1 more month and the first sem here will call an end... Time passes very fast, but sometimes slow too... Assignments all coming up because 3 of my subjects were assignment based and have no examinations except for that bloody ONE on 23rd! Wasting all my time from early June to 23rd June, what am I suppose to do then? Yea, I know I should study for the exam and I will... But thinking off those days I'm stuck here before exam and cant go back earlier... OMG!! So sad.... really SAD!!

Probably I'm going back for 1 month... I think from 24 June to 24 July... not quite sure yet cz I haven't buy the airfares... So will confirm later.. really CANT WAIT and this is so the motive for me to stay 'alive' in Melbourne. The weather here is cold... freaking cold... and I'm eating alot!! Shit... will start dieting soon with bro when I move to his place soon...

Uni life been okay to me... not really that great as I thought it would be... Maybe it's the people over here, not as friendly as I heard, they tend to mix with own group as in race I mean. Some friends felt that too. Frankly saying a bit racist sometimes...

Study so far so good I think... hehe.. Had my first presentation here for my music subject analyzing a Chinese song by A-Mei, hope the grades would be good. Having lot more assignments to due in couple weeks ahead. All of them were research essay and some tests coming up too. Need to do lot more of studying I think.

Been to the state library today and it's nice. I like the environment. Probably will go there often cause I can't really study with my lappie beside.. haha... Cause I definitely will FBing, chatting and movie, or even just looking around the Internet. Or I'll go to bed... hehe... So better off pack my books to library, maybe meeting my "someone" there as well? =p hope so~~~ wakkakaka

I found a room opposite my uni, will be moving in this July. It's a damn small room, just nice for a single bed and a desk, no closet... OMG! no closet... So I have to scacrifice my clothes... Sad man... Can't hang them up... Oh boy, poor clothes... Bear with it my poor clothes, I'll soon get a better place. The little small room just till Dec, then I'll be off to South Africa! wahahha.. so happy and it's my motive of studying!! I'll find another place next year when uni starts again.

Everything will be fine... I guess... and I hope so... Life's like this, yea? So just smile over it cause the Earth still turning no matter what happened...

It's Easter break and I will have 10 days off, from uni... How good is that...

Looking forward to travel a little, though not too far but at least I'm out of the city... See some green, soak in the hot spring... Sounds pretty good...

Sadly, I still have bloody assignment to do during the break.... Presentation as well.. Argh... This is a student life, what to do about it...

Oh.. And I cut my hair... The first time here in Melbourne, in a Korean Saloon... Not bad though and it's $45 (don't convert!!) haha... U can't convert anything living here, at least not the necessities... Right?

It's a sunny day on the 4th of April and definitely great for an outing, to the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show 2009 on Spring Street.

Before the show, we girls went to European for a European breakfast... The restaurant was crowded, service was kinda slow in pace but the food do taste delicious. Introducing Sheri, Kai Jun, Xiao Yen, Mei Yeen and of course our.. erm.. can't say breakfast really, should be brunch... hehe

Kai Jun didn't join us to the show but Phik Ee and her boyfriend David and Ino joined us... $15 for concession price... Mum always wanted to go but didn't have a chance.. so I'm here to show her some photos... unfortunately SLR was not with me.. so just normal camera shooting... but some were from Mei Yeen's SLR, so ENJOY~~~

There's a lot of flora, different kinds of it, not just flowers but trees. Most of it were creative, artistic design by flowers and trees... The hall just filled with breezing taste of flower with thousands layer of colours throughout the crowded exhibition hall.

Last but not least, having dessert before going home... ;-)

University is okay okay... not perfectly great, I still can survive... just passed up 2 assignments today and there's lot more due after Easter holiday. Thousands words essays and presentation...

Life? okay too... not really perfectly interesting, again I still can survive with it... need to do so much walking... just walk to everywhere... no car... T_T

Food were better... There's many type of cuisines here in Melbourne, just anything u can imagine...

Shopping... Yeah, I do live near the city with many shopping center... But think of the currency, I narrowed my shopaholic lifestyle... Bought a little though.. ;p

My lovely housemate wanted to have her own "elephant" cafe and she's good at baking cakes, making desserts. This sounds so delicious right, and she made us 2 chocolate desserts within a week.

But the point is... she's baking at 12am!!! haha...

3rd week

This is the 3rd week I'm here... kinda bored actually... maybe it's because I don't know much people and not familiar with the places...

just sent a friend back to malaysia for good... and everyone wants to go back... friends are going back on june, then i'll be left alone... here...

as for uni, some lectures were boring... maybe it's kinda serious type of teaching with hundreds of students and you just don't talk to people beside you just weird... unlike cimp, classes were fun and it's happening... we do have tutorials but i just don't talk in front of so many people, they are all intelligent and outspoken.. to be honest, i'm just too shy to speak in an unfamiliar place...

friends are all good here, they were all from malaysia and some from kuantan... it's good to have someone from your hometown, you just can tag along easily... they were mostly my brother and cousin's friends... it's really nice to have them around...

i'm gonna move to another place next week and my current housemate, xiao yen will be moving with other friends to another place as well... and for my next-week-onwards housemate, it's mei yeen... hope we all can have fun staying together... =)

been to many places with them and i need to thanks all of them... taking me out and showing me the places around melbourne, having nice, delicious dinner and went to mumba festival as well... taking over their room and selling their furniture to us in a very good price... there will be another friend going back to malaysia on saturday... so sad... haven't had a chance to be with them for a longer period yet need to sent them back...

this make me wanna go back too!!!

anyhow, i'll try my best to live my life here... it's tough to be in a new place... now i know...

My Uni Life

Started my uni life this week... University of Melbourne is really big, i mean i still can't remember the ways to those buildings...

I'm taking Bachelor of Arts and for this semester I'll be doing 4 subjects including

Introduction to Cinema Studies
Creative Writing
Knowing Nature (Interdisciplinary Foundation Subject,IDF)
Discovering Music (Breadth Subject)

The first week of lectures and tutorials were trail for me, I changed my IDF subject from "from homer to hollywood" to "knowing nature" cause I find the first one boring. It's about history, Greek, Roman and those WWI and WWII. Additionally, those are not my interest although the word "hollywood" sounds interesting but the fact it's not what it seems to be. At last, knowing nature will be something I knew a little in high school, something related to biology I think, will attend lectures next week and see where it brings me to.

Introduction to cinema studies, the first screening was "School of Rock" by Richard Linklater. Tutorial was kinda interesting too cause it analysing movies. I'll be able to watch many good movies throughout this semester. Yet, I need to watch more in my free time to help on my studies. Hehe... Still, I need to do report after screening. Looking forward to this subject!! Seems more fun than the others. =)

Creative writing needs to write hell a lot. The first assignment is poetry, omg... I'm not really good at poems... Help me~~ haha.. But anyhow, I'll try my best and will give my best... Need to do more readings, more to come. Bring it on, story books~~ T___T

As for discovering music, it's kinda interesting to look at music once again from basic. Maybe I'll get to find my guts back at music, hope it will... To call back my enthusiasm deep inside my heart. I already knew music and played the piano and violin, so it's kinda easy for me but lecturer said that previous student who know music took this subject and still learn a lot from it... I don't wanna pick up instrument because I wanna focus on my studies and I think I had no time to practice with tons of assignments awaits me. Further more, I had none of my instrument with me.

That's all, not much pictures of uni though cause I'm using my bro's camera and I'm not so familiar with it... I need to start study after a 8 months long vacation, finger cross that I could cope with it!!

STUDY HARD AND PLAY HARD

Manado & Bunaken Island

4 hours flight to Manado, Indonesia with just RM70 per person!! Damn cheap...
And sadly, it's my last trip before i start my uni life... oh oh... i need to study...

My parents, brother and I went there with no direction at all although I did some research but we still blurring around at the airport at first. Then we went to a travel information center at the airport. Finding places to stay and plans to do while we were there.

We had lunch by the sea, seafront view with blue blue sea water and sunny sky!! I just love it so much!!! Seafood meal, and it's with spices, kinda hot for mummy. Food there not bad, Indonesian style somehow similar with Malaysian style just spice up a little. The money there are BIG, with many 0000s at the cash note. Not really get use to those big numbers.. haha..

After lunch, we checked in a 5 start beach side resort. The rooms were not expensive actually, but for the locals, were too much for them. Our rooms just beside the pool, walk out and you'll see the beach. It's not a peak season when we were there so the resort was quiet, calm and just fabulous for quiet, relaxing vacation. I sun bathed under tree shade and went to the sea for a quick swim with my bro. Then into the pool for a longer rejuvenating swim.

Sunset was breath-taking, my bro and I kept talking photos of the sunset. Pinkish orange sunset by the sea side. What you can ask for more? The scenery just make me breathless and speechless. With my cammy, I took photos enjoying the beautiful sunset with my family. As for my parents, they pak tor, holding hands walking by watching sun set. Me? lonely me just taking photos of them. Envy them.. haha... so damn "yan oi"!!

The resort has Indonesia spa, my mum and I went for a 1 hour therapy together in a couple room while my dad and bro sleeping at the resort room. It's nice with all the 5 starts facilities and not expensive rate. The resort is good for quiet vacation! -Hotel Sedona-

The next day, we rented a boat to Bunaken Island. It's a world top diving spot, I don't have a diving licence!! What a waste... T___T Along the journey to Bunaken Island, I sat under the sun, enjoying the sunny blue salty environment, it's a haven to me!!! ----LOVE---- We arrived at the island after 30-40minutes and yes I'm all the way at the front of the boat sunbathing... Hehe... Cause I enjoy it a lot!!!

On the island, everything charged in Euro!! The rooms, the rental of equipment for snorkeling, just everything... We stayed at Bastianos Resort, seafront too of course. Seriously, the beaches there were not what I expected and there's floating rubbish on the sea. Need more care for the environment, save our environment!!!

Our first snorkeling trip was just 10 minutes away from the resort. With our mask and fin on, we slide underwater from the boat. AWESOME is the only word to discribe the underwater scenery!! It's a piece of art... Fishes were swimming around us and corals waving to us, it's breath-taking!!! Dad, bro and I swim as far as we could, enjoying the underneath world while mum swim nearby the boat cause she's scared. haha... The corals were 2m away from us and just beside it, it's a 15m sea.

At first, I was scared too to swim at the 15m side but from 15m side, you'll see a picture of the coral and the fishes. It's like a framed art from the 15m, it's just fabulous! While we swim away the boat, there's a lot more to see, more kinds of fishes and coral. I dived down to touch the corals, and there were nemos!!! I only recognise nemo, haha... the others, I don't know what they called... colourful fishes and corals....

After 2 hours, we sailed back to the resort for lunch. There were only 17 of us at the resort. 4 of me and my family members, 8 from Malacca, 2 pension couple from Belgium and 3 from Germany. There's a cute little boy from Germany and he played pool with me. The next snorkeling trip, the wife of the Belgium couple joined us, the husband just stayed sleeping at the resort. Round of applause because the wife has a water camera!! So I can show you guys the underworld...

2nd snorkeling trip was even better... 2nd spot has more corals, colourful and beautiful... I swim here swim there, enjoying the fishes and corals then suddenly, a fish!!! A fish in a size of a 20x6cm green + blue colour fish saw me above it... Then "it" immediately swim upwards, in a very very fast speed towards my face, with a pair of fierce eye balls!!! OMG, it scared me a lot!!! With hesitation, I kicked, waved and splashed all over, moving my four arms in no directions to avoid that "fishy"!!! So so so scary!!! Then I quickly swim towards the Belgium wife. While I'm swimming back towards the boat, I swim at the 10m side to avoid that bad "fishy"!! It's a nightmare to me, seriously!!

We climbed up the boat for a rest, then the Belgium lady asked me if I was attacked by the fish and hell yes!!! The very bad "fishy" attacked her too!!! OMG, it's a very very bad one... I once again sat at the front of the boat, then I fall asleep!!! Too enjoying for me, with my favourite place on earth, blue sky, salty wind. It's totally heaven to me!!! My dad and bro continue their snorkeling without me cause I'm sleeping on boat. The boat was sailing back when I woke up and I think I got sunburn that time.. haha...

After bathing, we were waiting for dinner and again sun was setting. Dinner time, we all 17 were chatting together. The Belgium couple brought out their mini laptop showing us the underwater she took during noon snorkeling. Then we were all chatting about our travelling experiences. Then all were with own business after dinner. Me? too tired and I slept early, very early, around 8.30pm if not mistaken.

The next day, after breakfast, we were off back to Manado then Malaysia. On the journey back, I still wanna enjoy the sunlight, choosed a seat under the sun again. Call me idiot.. =p My journey ended with sunburn over my shoulders, it painful while my backpack is on but I just love sunbathing!!! wakakkakakak

it is 3.55am here in Melbourne, so fast... I'm here already!!

my mum made me cry at the airport cause she's crying and i can't stand seeing people crying, it made my tears rolling down automatically!!

at the airport, i meant here. seeing peoples, Aussie people and thinking that my 3 years I'm gonna study here with Aussie people... how my life here would be then?? missing my family and friends already although my eldest bro is snoring right beside me now... and the cute "headie" is sleeping next to him - a pet dog...

i have no time to sent goodbyes messages to you all, sorry bout that because I'm spending time with my parents at the airport and rushing for boarding... thanks for all the messages and phone calls from you guys, appreciated it!!

tomorrow? sleeping time!! I'll be meeting my bro's girlfriend and her parents in the morning, they're in bed right now and her parents had already think what to cook for me... the minute my bro saw me walking out from the gate, he said I'm gaining weight =( i know la cause CNY + home cook meals + food in Kuantan, how could i not be fat?

btw, Manado and Bunaken was a nice trip... the beach wasn't what i expected but the underwater scenery was breath-taking at Bunaken island!! meant to be the world top ten, thumbs up!! unfortunately i don't have diving licence, it would be much better if i can dive deeper... will update about Manado and Bunaken, Indonesia soon... let me get my stuff here at Melbourne done and I'll have the time to blog bout it! =)

Lazy to blog recently, although there's alot to tell... So here's a fast one, to summarize all in one... =p

After Jogoya, the girls went to Maison, including me for sure. And that place was not so happening as last time ad. We wanted to change place, yet we were too lazy and we saw people going in. Then we just have fun inside la, with ourselves. We didn't club together for long, I think since Mun Yee went to Melbourne. Now, my turn... Thanks girls for meeting me, appreciated it... =)

The next day, had bah kut teh breakfast with my ex-housemate, brother and cousin brother. Then we all separated for own "business" (it's fun actually) My friends and I went for karaoke session at pyramid. They were my Kuantan friends, we used to sing together when I'm still at Sunway. Singing and cam whoring, yeah, we did that alot. =p

Night time, went dinner with gay n babi with their friends. I didn't talk much that night and I don't know why. Just didn't felt like talking, so they thought I'm moody but I'm not. After dinner, we went to sheepie's house for mahjong sessions till morning. Then I slept over at gay's place after an Indian woman stop-down by the roadside alone and we couldn't help out. (cause she just speak indian and it's morning bout 5am) Then I woke up around 1pm, slept back again till 5pm.

Dinner with animal gang at Hartamas, kinda awkward cause some people moody and didn't speak much. Maybe I've spread my virus to them cause the day before I'm quiet. Atmosphere getting worse while we were drinking. Around midnight, we dismissed.

Sunday morning, I'm going back Kuantan that day. Before heading back, my friends and I went to Pavilion again for K session at red box plus. (I don't recommend that place) We played, sang, ate and just had fun together. Around 4pm, we started our journey back to Kuantan. In the car, we talked alot. =)

All above were my KL trip experiences. Now I'm back in Kuantan, need to start packing tmr. OMG~~ Hope I can fit everything in, pray hard... T.T

Jogoya

My friends and I went to Jogoya, Starhill on Thursday night. It's been awhile for us to meet each other. Unfortunately, not all were there. 6 of us - myself, kar yan, mun yee, chloe, shiro and koon. We were excited to dine at Jogoya.

It's my first time there. I heard about this Japanese buffet long time ago and all were compliment. This made me excited to try out Jogoya. The place almost full when we got there, luckily I reserved earlier on. =)

Buffet rules - enjoy the most expensive dish first!! So the first dish I get for myself was oyster!! It's such a chaos cause everyone wants oyster. Carry on, shashimi, unagi, lamb, seafood and bla bla bla... The coconut drink surely thumbs up!! I didn't try all the food because it's too much, but overall it's a nice place to dine in with nice food and drinks... Due to Chinese New Year, we had a chance to lou sang together!!

As for dessert, OMG!! Hagen Daz ice-cream... There was also a dessert bar with lots of cakes, biscuits, fruits, mua chi, pudding and much much more. It's d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s. The Hagen Daz chocolate ice-cream is still my favourite!!

Jogoya Dinner - RM88 (plus tax and stuff it's around RM102 per head)

It's highly recommended!!! A must try in KL...

We had fun that night, talked and play throughout the dinner. It's nice to be with them and it reminds me of our CIMP moments. Love you girls~~

Finally, I met up with many many long-time-no-see friends. During CNY, at my open house + farewell party, and just simply around my hometown. I think around 60 friends came to my party, but not really well prepared la cause I expected them to come after dinner. So the BBQ was like simple simple style, but many of them came with empty stomach, sorry guys... Pai seh la!! =p

Sincerely saying THANK YOU to those who came over, I really appreciated it very much. The funny part was, some came to my house like "you still remember my name ma?" Yeah, for sure. Although didn't contact often or can say 5 years not even a simple "hello" but I still remember them. Really need to thanks my friends for attending, so that I can see them and chat with them before I'm leaving. Thanks for friends who gave me presents too. So sweet of them. And guess what? I received an unexpected present which touches me... Ferrero Rondnoir (asked Singapore friend to post over, i didn't even mention bout this dark choco with her/them before, definitely surprises me)!!! Others were bag from Vietnam, scarf and hat (winter use), wine & champagne, pirated drama series, Marley & Me book... Billion thanks.... So happy!! =)

The part I regretted most is..... I DIDN'T TOOK A SINGLE PICTURE WITH MY FRIENDS THAT NIGHT!!! WTF!!!! And I charged two of my cameras overnight and I forgotten to use them!!! Shit-ta... So so so regret... PICTURES~~~~ Time machine please sent me back to that night and take some pictures!!!! T___T

Dedicate to Our Beloved Coco

...Coco passed away...

The one and only Coco, he's a damn cute baby puppy among the others and the only four eyes dog in our family. He's the cutest dog ever. He's huge, tall, playful, and just different from the others. He's always the hyperactive in the house, always jumping around here and there. Whenever my parents and I going out for a walk after dinner, he's the one jumping out from the dog gate to join us, and only he can jump over the dog gate.

He's admitted to the vet clinic 2 days ago because he can't even stand up to walk or eat, vomited, bitten by other dogs (cause he's the biggest, so when he can't manage to walk, others abused him, and my dad punished the others) Unfortunately during CNY, the vet was closed and dad can't contact the vet. By the time he get contact with the vet, coco was hospitalized. Dad even gave him antibiotic before that, but it couldn't help. I just took pictures with him and sent to my friends to show then how Coco look like and he passed away, how ironic... I'm so sad...

This morning after breakfast with my parents, we supposed to visit him at the vet. Just before we were going, the vet called dad and told us the bad news. Coco vomited blood and passed away due to unknown reason. The vet couldn't figure out the problem and they can't help Coco much. We love Coco so much...

Chinese New Year

Tomorrow is Chinese New Year, it seem so dull these years, not much of CNY feeling compared to past past past few years (and I don't know since when, but it's been quite awhile). Anyhow, I'm here wishing u all HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR 2009 and GONG XI FA CAI. It's a cow year, but hope we won't be so "cow" (mang sat) throughout the entire year, especially some of you (yeah, you should know whom I refer to) =p

According to those typical Chinese people, zodiac of mine - snake, "disturb" Cow/Ox Year. I can't really tell in English how it is but to all Chinese out there, you'll get what I mean. My siblings all "fan tai sui" (in cantonse), the Cow, Rabbit and Snake. That's why my mum will be very worry this year (for sure she will) and she went to temple to pray and "sip tai sui" (in cantonse). Then later before I'm leaving M'sia, I need to go pray pray as well. BoPi BoPi (hokkien).

I bought damn many new clothing, hhaha... I think I can wear till 15th of CNY, seriously. I shall wear the "ang ang" tomorrow morning. Red for CNY, it's the tradition. Then collect red packets too!!! Wahaha... Although I'm not into red, but still I needed them (the red packets)... Holy Money (credits to gay gay)... I hope this year those "ang pau" won't "suk sui" because of the bad economics, really hope so!! Then hope that lil casinos will help me "earn" some extra pocket money too... (red undies?? but I don't have wor) Luck.. Luck... Come to me... "Choy San Ye" come too!! =)

And for my open house party on Tuesday night, I'm looking forward. Cause I invited primary schoolmates and long time friends that we don't meet up often. I don't know if I can recognize them... If can't sure damn pai seh dy... Sort of gathering and farewell party, but for some who's going somewhere that day, I'll meet them before I leave. Hope will be fun that night - friends & BBQ & lil casinos & chit-chatting & beer & whatever.... Additional advise, don't forget to catch up the CNY movies... Sounds not bad from their Titles!!

Crab

Before I went to KL met up my aunt, my dad bought crabs back from don't know where with a very cheap price. Long time din eat crab already, not really, the last time was after Bangkok trip at Kota Bharu eating "dong fun" crab (Thai style) just last month. =p

The first time he bought back, mum cooked following recipe, nice and tasty - sweet soup crab. Then the next day, crab again, mum cooked again with different sauce, but it's kinda not cook well enough - sweet chili crab. Then the day I went to KL, dad bought crabs again, and they went out to restaurant to cook those crabs - "dong fun" crab (Thai style), I love it but unfortunately I'm not in so can't taste it... T.T

Today, crabs again. Went out to restaurant, 6 crabs and the chef suggested 3 crabs - 3 crabs, two different dishes - egg crab and chili crab. It's delicious and I just love seafood... We even ask the waiter to buy us bread, cause the chili sauce best served with bread. Dipping red chili sauce, damn yummy. The tables around us kept watching me eat crab cause I just enjoy the crabs like heck... Haha... They're craving for it, I can see.... My emotions while eating shows it all - D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!! Those orange colour crab's egg (high in cholesterol) it's nice, and we all gain weight and cholesterol.... Wakkakaka... Who cares??!!

Received an email from AA airline around midnight - love-a-fare promotion!!!!

The cheapest I found is to Manado, Indonesia!! RM70 all inclusive (i mean taxes and fuel charges)... OMG, S-E-V-E-N-T-Y!!!! It's on my mind the whole night!!! I told pig pig, cause they were planning to Pangkor Island. But she kept on refusing!!! Damn u... U're the only one that's so freaking free la... Others are not available!!! T.T Then I turn to my Greenies and Mei Lin, but they don't have passport and it's kinda hard. T.T I'm so desperate until I posted on my msn's pm to ask if anyone is interested going with me... SayMing wanted, but me and him, others don't know and need time to plan sumore, not enough time la bro... Manado, beach!!! I want to go la!!! Diving paradise... My diving license....

This morning, I told my mum, then we discuss it during breakfast. Dad say okay ar.. go lar... Mum oso okay... So, I think OKAY la... I'm going ad!!! wakkakakka.... so so so so HAPPY!!!! RM70 ler!!! Freaking cheap wei!!! So seducing...

It's the last trip before going to Aussie ad.... So sad, I haven't visit places in and around M'sia ler... Nvm, I'll visit around Aussie while I'm there, then countires around there... Then further!!! Wah.... So nice!!! I know I'm a travel freak, call me travelholic please!!! wakkakaka =p I'll get high once I see any places that I can go soon!!! I'm so high since last night!!!!

Going Hospital Everday... Argh...

Supposed to take my medicines now but I don't have water in my room, blog first la then go down hunt for water...

I need to do physiotherapy everyday this week... OMG... Just the 2nd day and I don't feel like visiting everyday, like I'm in serious trouble or what... Going to hospital everyday... Hate the smell there and luckily I don't need to see that stupid Dr everyday, if not I think I'll faint seeing his damn unfriendly face every morning... Each session took an hour plus and I need to do those exercises 3 times a day at home, lazy la... but if I remember I'll do it la...

When I woke up this morning, I rushed into toilet to shit. After brushing my teeth, I felt like vomiting but nothing came out, the vomit thingy just rise up to throat area and that's all... I encountered these kinda nothing-came-out vomit thingy for past 2 months if not mistaken, but twice a month. Nowadays, it became more frequent so I told my parents cause it's damn annoying!! I had appointment for physio today at 11pm but my tummy upset, so appointment deferred till noon time. My mum took me to see a very friendly Dr I used to visit, he's good looking (my mum say so) and damn friendly!! Everyone in town likes him a lot... Conclusion, medicines again and I need to fix my constipation habit and there's air inside my stomach... T.T

I'm suffering from bad headache the whole day!! Went back home for nap and also canceled the physio appointment cause I really don't feel like going today... Will attend tomorrow's session la... I felt so weak now.... With my knee problem and internal system not working quite well, thank god my tonsils didn't came to visit me!!

Okay, time to take my med... Ciao!!

Hospitalize

I went back to that not-so-friendly Dr again at "big shark hospital" this morning after breakfast. Mum called up my insurance agent to check up whether I'm cover for my knee injury. The answer - YES... but I had to be hospitalize for 6 hours to claim the insurance. So, I'm admitted to hospital, for the very first time.

Had my tag on, booked the physiotherapist for physio in the afternoon, my mum and I drove away from the hospital. I didn't even walked into the room, it's a 4 patients sharing non-aircond room. I went lunch with mum and got back home, with my tag on. Who wanna stay in hospital doing nothing and with the not-good-breathing environment (hospital smell), better yet go home right?! Cause it's Kuantan and it's near, I can just go back when I'm supposed to. 6 hours? HELL NO!!

Need to go to the hospital soon around 3pm for physiotherapy. I think I'll get some rest before going. Yup, camwhoring again!!

Back from physiotherapy, had a hour plus treatment with machines and some exercises. Not that bad actually, need to go everyday though... T.T
FYI, I'm still admitted but I ran off again (didn't went into the room at all). Will go "check out" or discharge tomorrow when I'm there for the second treatment. The stupid tag still on my hand and I couldn't take it off by myself, help me please!!

Having dinner with cousins later on, with my cousin sister whom is going back to Melbourne on Thursday... Btw, will see her when I'm in Aussie... See ya~~

I bought it during my Taiwan trip couple months ago and I can't find it in Malaysia, been to many places but still no hope... I have other dark chocolate at home but I still miss this particular round shape ball like dark chocolate... =(

It's nice!! It's good!! Crunchy crunchy outside layer and moisture inner layer with dark chocolate.. OMG, I'm craving for it!!

I know that I can buy it online, but I'm lazy to order, pay and wait for it!!

Baking Cookies

My Knee

I woke up early in the morning today, promised my dad that I'll accompany him cycle along the beach side. I'm not sure whether my knee was 100% recovery or even 50%, yet I tried to cycle with him. For the beginning 20mins it's okay but then I encounter knee pain AGAIN!! So I guess my knee was not recovering well as I thought.

Speak to my parents and we realized it's been 4-5 months since I injured my knee, it's my right knee. I stop exercising for months because of this, and not much of jumping, running. Conclusion, I need to visit a doctor, an orthopedic.

After breakfast, my mum and I went to "big shark hospital", reclaim it's name because of it's expensive fees, everyone in Kuantan knows bout it. =p We waited for an hour, freaking boring hour there as told the doctor was up visiting his patients, so just need to wait, and only wait.

Dr checked my knee, bent it, straighten it, bent again and keep on repeating to find out my problem. Then took me for X-rays, 3 x-rays just for my right knee and billions of my knee cells killed. =( After analyzing the x-rays, Dr said my knee alignment was out and my patella (knee cap) is rubbing my femur (tight bone) causing pain. Yea, I can feel that my alignment was out. Dr advised me going to physiotherapy twice a week for a month to see how things go, if the physio don't give any result, surgery might be the next option. It's just only microscopic kinda surgery, not those big big scary with knife operation. My mum shocked when she heard the word "surgery", scares her a lot cause she always "think big". LOL Mum decided asking my dad before any further action, and the Dr kinda impolite (I don't like him, hate those profession with a damn face on them, Dr ny wat, so wat?! human too, no big deal k!) Physio = RM100 per session, surgery = RM5000 + 2 nights hospitalize. As for the bill, RM207.

After leaving, my mum called up another physiotherapist that used to physio my grandma for second opinion. He offered coming to my house and have a look. Looking at those x-rays and movement of my knee, he told me many reasons to cause my injury. He applied some cream, massage and told me how I should take care of it. It's not a very big deal for me he said, just need careful watch and build up muscles around my knee then should be okay. It will recover by itself, I just need to put on knee guard whenever I'm out for walk. No mini skirt for me he said cause of the ugly, not-so-modern/artistic knee guard. OMG, I really need to put on knee guard when I'm out, shit-ta!! So good of him that he didn't even charged me a penny. Thanks man!! =)

Half a day spend on my knee and I'm so tired now. Do I need to seek 3rd opinion now? 2 different analysis and advises, which to obey?? I have no idea, just see how my knee goes!! All the best and FAST 100% recovery please cutie little right knee!! I need you so much cause I miss exercising!!

Growing

It's midnight again... Hate when night falls... Night should be the most beautiful period of all day with blinking stars and dark blue sky above, yet I still hate it sometimes, just sometimes, I swear...

Before when I'm into the whole teenage - adult thingy, life seems so simple, happy and just damn easy to live with. Until when I or we started thinking to be as elder we wanted, life's been more complicated, maybe we felt more emotions and express our feelings towards certain extend.

I remembered when I was young, I wanted to be an adult ASAP. Recalling back I went into my mum's room, with all her clothing and accessories, even her power glasses. I thought that with those things on me, I'm an adult. Childhood huh?? Bet that you reading this post has same memories too. Kinda childish, nope it's definitely kiddo. Flashing back the time we wanted to get our driving license desperately, get into clubs and alcohol-ing freely, excess into casinos and just do whatever we wanted, like an adult. All these happened on us, what do you think now?

Talking bout kindergarten, mostly laughter, with whole gang of children playing together from scratch. Then came primary school, still mainly happy memories and friendship. Yet till almost secondary, things started to be cold, events such as "I don't wanna friend you anymore" and who gang with who stuff. Secondary, 2 choices, either study study book worm kinda life or gangsters' fighting scene. I'm in between cause everyone my friends and I don't kinda like to side anywhere, it's good to have more friends right? At least you have both sides with you. =p To be honest, there were many relationships going tough too, no matter puppy love, friendship, even with school teachers and disciplines or maybe family problems. Kinda expose to the reality world I think. No, not yet! It's college time, yeah, sounds kinda interesting and fun. But the truth is, you'll meet more and more people, a huge variety of it, distinct religion, background and people you see in drama - acting. Soon, you'll start protecting yourself and people you care of. For me, I've been closing my heart for some reasons and only open to friends I think worth to open for, cause we learned from mistakes and couldn't afford to get hurt again, it's painful. Life's getting difficult I guess.

So... How's life gonna be in future? Still hoping to grow? Nah, not much of it... I appreciate the life before growing, cause it's more relaxing. Now? Later? Not gonna think a heck about it and just let it be, hope and wish for the better, definitely. Perception changed, everyone hoping to be younger. Dressed younger, keeping up with the trend. Hate when people say we look mature, old. Don't like the fact that we were a year older after celebrating new year. University life and workforce life ahead. Wow~~ Scary? Fun? Unpredictable man, and it's just gonna be ever changing, so better be prepared. Or be like me, ever changing for challenges ahead, always not a play-safe game for me cause I love surprises. Yeah, it's damn dangerous but who cares? It's my life.

Growing teaches me a lot.

And, I'm leaving KL unwillingly.

Once again, everyone was asking when I'll be in KL.
And, my dad just asked me when I'll be home.

Once again, I'm on the bus going home.
And, I hated it.

And, I'll miss them a lot.

Hey everyone, happy new year!! so lame la... wth...

Anyhow, I had fun with my animal gang celebrating new year together, but without chicken bun... =( I'm lazy to blog about what happened while celebrating new year together for the very first time. Just wanna say that I cherish this friendship a lot and can't afford to lose it. =) I'll soon be back to my hometown and wouldn't had much time spending together in future, live for now!!!

I wish everyone out there all the best in year 2009. Can't imagine that how my life would be in Aussie 2 months later, hope it'll be great... And I meant it for my studies as my brain had stop functioning for more than half a year, still starting my degree in MelbU, suicide wei!! 2009...2009... New life huh?! Yeah, new life begin with my twenty - 20, and I just love this number so much cause it's my birth date. Life just passed 19 years and I never regretted what I've done and been through so far. I love my life with all kinda spices and colours added, laughter and sorrows. It's just damn great and will continue to be damn great too!!

Can't celebrate with my friends in Kuantan, but I hope that they had great one too!! Miss them!! Diudiudiudiudiudiudiudiu... All the way from KL to Kuantan, got it??!! hehe... Happy New Year dears... I know we "celebrated" new year together, an early one, on 28 Dec!! At least we counted down right?!! With lots of love!!! <3 We must spend more time together!!!

Miss them animals

The day before I'm at KL, sheep text me saying she miss me a lot. I miss her too... =)

When I reached KL, I slept for the whole day until sunset cause I slept at 6am in the morning and begin journey to KL around 9.30am. I asked bear if he's using the car whole night and wanted to borrow his car if he's not using it. I can't wait to meet them... Miss them so much...

Finally, my bro asked me to join for movie later at night and I rejected. Telling him that I'll drop him and his friends to the cinema and pick them up when movie ends, so that I have a car to visit those animals - sheep and babi.

When I arrived at sheep's home, I'm waiting outside her house and she didn't pick up the phone. So I went ringing her bell, her mum opened the door for me and she's up in her room. I stand beside her door and heard my phone ringing, I knew it was her. I looked into the room and she's still calling me cause she don't know I'm in her room already. Haha... At last, she noticed I'm there and she's shocked. I'm glad to see her... She handed me a Christmas gift, it's a white little Christmas tree. Thanks a lot. I'll bring it to Aussie and we celebrate Christmas together next year, promise k... Then we were off to babi's home.

Outside babi's house, it's all dark! Like no one in the house, scary wei. Then sheep phoned her, asking her whether she's at home cause the lights were all off. Few minutes later, the lights were on and she's out hugging her doggy - Oreo. Oreo is cute!! Babi with her aunty looking sytle!! Haha.. =p It's my first time to her house, and she renovated her room. That's why sheep and I visited her. Blue ceiling and white walls, nice job babi. Her room was not ready yet as she's still packing. Sheep and I helped her with her curtains (thx sheep for teaching me). Babi's brother really look like JJ!! But this time with a little thingy on his so called "sexy" lips... Haha... We talked and play with Oreo. Oreo shitted in babi's room!! Hehe...

Around 11.20pm, bear called and I need to fetch him from cinema. That's all for that night and will see them again!! Celebrate New Year together for the very first time!! Hope it'll be a great one!! (but without chicken ban {bun}!! sigh... sure will be more fun that she's here with us that night)

Days were just being bad for us, yeah, hope it'll be fine in year 2009!! It WILL be fine in year 2009 for sure!!

Supposed that we were going to celebrate X'mas together, the whole gang and yet left the remaining two - Green and I. Locked needs to accompany her mum, Susu having dinner with family and 13 had something going on. Green came to fetch me and went to Megamall, planning to have movie and dinner. We bought tickets for IP MAN (it's a good movie) and we both pronounced it as I.P MAN (in English). We knew the Chinese name of that movie but just didn't realized it. It's funny though. Before movie, we ate dinner at K.Roger's, talking about stuffs and both were a little sad cause all like ffk-ed us. Anyhow, we had a great one right.

Susu and Locked said will join us for yc session after the movie. We met them at Starbucks in ECM and found out that it closes early, so we can't count down to Christmas there. Too sad... While Green and me were in the car, I knew something really bad is going to happen. Yet, I wanted Green to WAKE UP!! Admit and accept the truth, go through it STRONGLY!! Cause you still have US!!

The drama begin... horrifying...

Really sorry that this year Christmas was a nightmare to you, dear. But... Think for the best, I'm there with you celebrating Xmas together!! It's not about Christmas, it's about them, especially her. So don't hate Christmas, nothing to do with it. Just that it's Christmas Day, really... Hope you'll not hate Christmas just because of her. You still have us celebrate with you that day and we spend time together at the beach right. Think about that, we had great fun (except that part) on Christmas Day. I know you're suffering, we all been through it already, not only you. Be strong!! Everything will be fine, I swear! Being once as Sohai really made us felt that we were damn stupid. On the other hand, we learned an IMPORTANT lesson. This is life... I really don't hope that future Christmas will be nightmare for you and I know you hate Christmas for now. Please forget it!! Take your time to recover, no rush. I've been through it, TWICE and I knew it well. Time will say it all... Let it be... I'm always there for you!! We'll always be there for you...

Just blame that we knew each other not long and I'm leaving soon, but I'm still 24-7!! Wish that we would be friends since we were baby right?! =)

Bangkok

Once again... Bangkok, Thailand. This would be the N time I'm visiting the crowded city again and a shopping paradise before New Year comes.

My aunt booked my ticket long time ago, can say that she "bao" me in another way. Haha... Thanks to her! On the other hand, my dad was like, you're going off AGAIN??!! I need to say sorry because I really didn't had much time staying home in Kuantan, always going here and there for the past 6 months. I'll try my best to stay home, accompany my family before I'm leaving to Aussie. =p

Seriously, no more shopping for me or else I'll get "chopping" from my parents. Hehe... In this trip, I'm going with people I'm not familiar with except my aunt. Around 20 of us and I just knew 10 of them I think. 15 were from Kota Bharu and 4 from Penang. I stick with my aunt all the time, because I'm with her, and another reason - she's my ATM. Muahahaha...

I met them in LCCT as they were coming from KB. After my blunch in McD - prosperity burger with TWISTER FRIES, I'm waiting for the plane with them. We arrived Bangkok around 3pm (Bangkok time). We straight away went shopping after checking into the hotel near Platunam. Then went to a buffet dinner together in King Power, the buffet was great and it's just only 350Baht.

The next early morning, I really meant EARLY as 3.30am. We woke up, looking forward to my first morning shopping around 4am at Bo Bae Tower. Everything were wholesale!! Damn cheap wei... For example : 150Baht - jeans, 130Baht - pants, 120Baht - dress/shirt, 60Baht - T-shirt, 40Baht - short pants, 50Baht - belt and so on!!! OMG, everything around that price and you can shop like it's free. With 1000Baht, you really can buy tons of things there and 1000Baht is so usable!! The only thing was that you need to buy at least 3 pieces and above to get wholesale price, you can mix and match as long as 3 pieces from the same store. Aunties and daughters were so excited, they kept on buying and buying. The streets closes at 7am, we went back hotel to have breakfast and got back into the bed. On Sunday, things were much cheaper and all jeans, pants were just 100Baht!! Damn cheap!!

11am, the shopping journey continues to Chatuchak Market. This is a very famous market in Bangkok, more than 15,000 stores inside and you'll easily get lost. I've been there several times and still love that place, it's a typical Thailand shopping culture. Unfortunately, most clothing we saw in Chatuchak came from Bo Bae Tower stores and the prices slightly increases in Chatuchak Weekend Market. Yet, there's still plenty to shop for. You can find almost everything in
Chatuchak, from fake lizard to puppy to of course clothing, just almost anything you can imagine of. Bangkok weather was nice, sun shinning bright the whole day and just a little too much to walk outdoor. I've been there so many times and I still couldn't finish walking pass all stores in Chatuchak.

The next must shop destination is Platinum Fashion Mall, again, another wholesale price shopping centre and it's with air-condition. The clothes there were mostly clothes we buy in Malaysia's boutiques, definitely in a much lower price. The most expensive jeans I bought there was 450Baht, and a vest that cost me 300Baht. Other than that, all were in a lower price range. The stores in Platinum of course were organized compared to the markets. This is a better option if you don't like being outdoor and sweat yourself in 20mins. There were 5 floors inside so you can take your time to shop there. I love to shop accessories there because it's super duper cheap as 70Baht for a necklace that you simply pay RM39.90 in M'sia.

There were many more night markets (pasar malam style) around the main streets which also sell clothes. They offer wholesale price as well. To shop in Bangkok, you need to bargain, must bargain! In this trip, my aunt's worker is a mix Malaysian-Thailand woman, so she's the one helping us to bargain and communicate in Thai language, this save us a lot money! =p China Town is also a shopping paradise, wholesale prices and definitely crowded! Many M'sian tourist visit China Town for it's food products, it's delicious and cheap. You may also shop for Chinese culture thingy there such as New Year decorations, New Year cards or Ang Pau envelopes and Ah-Ma-Zai clothes (Cheong Sam).

That's all for the shopping part, now it's time for Thai food!! Thai food spices up my life, I love Thai food so much!! Hehe... Every time I'm in Thailand, Phat Thai is the must-eat-dish for me, it's Thai style fry noodle in choices of chicken, beef or seafood. I remember backpacking with my eldest brother, we love ordering Phat Thai wherever we went. I prefer eating street stalls rather than clean, tidy restaurant cause you need to try it locally, this is all about travel! Soup noodle with beef or fish ball were second choices, you can find it everywhere, easily accessible. Tom Yum Gung too. I usually like to add dried chili powder into soup noodle, damn delicious!! It's exciting when my eyes and nose get wet cause of spices! Haha... Additional snacks are grill pork, chicken (sate style), mango sticky rice is another famous delicacy in Thai society, as well as kuih-muih (Thai style of course). MK steamboat is another favourite of mine, it's a franchise steamboat restaurant in almost every shopping mall in Bangkok, over 200 they have. My family and I like that restaurant a lot. OMG, I just love Thai cuisine!!!

Christmas is here and we visited Siam Paragon, the largest shopping centre in Thailand, branded and expensive, just like Pavilion in KL. The Christmas decoration was awesome and I'm so regret that I forgotten to bring along my Canon!! What a waste!! There's a huge white X'mas tree at the main entrance and life band at the other side. Many many were posing and cam whoring around (me too la =p). The seasoning decoration just can't compare with any in M'sia, Bangkok is definetly much better... I forgot my canon~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Argh!!

I didn't get enough sleep there because the first 2 nights we woke up around 3.30am to Bo Bae Tower and the last morning woke up around 4am to pack and prepare to depart back to KL. My aunt, worker and me (3 ppl) have 3 own luggage + 2 extra big bag (those Ma-Bao-Doi). We really shop till we drop!! At LCCT, custom wanna tax us (cari makan one) cause we bought a lot. He wanted RM50 for no reason!! Sure we refuse to pay cause there's no reason he can tax us!! Damn them!!

Foot massage was so relaxing, just 200Baht... Manicure 100Baht, pedicure 150Baht and hair wash 80Baht!!

Thailand is just so fun!! =)

Early Xmas Dinner

After 5 days back in Kuantan, I'm off to KL AGAIN!!! I hate bus la!!

I planned dinner with shortie gang + LimShiWen + Nickie + Worm at Dragon-i cause Alexis and I just love the tofu there!! OMG~~~ TOFU
I went to Jay Jay's house when I arrived KL, then the last minute Gay gay took a fast shower while Alexis drove around 60KM/H to get us to her house.

I took shower at Alexis's place then Jay and I were in front the comp trying to beat Danee's score!! We were trying so hard and with the new section as well (we did not bad le, just out of luck) Wakakakak Later, the naughty LimShiWen used her LONG leg to "liu" my ass!!! She's been very very naughty these days and always wanna kacau me, got any reason bo LimShiWen??!! I thought you always protecting me??!! After I changed to another spot, her LONG leg wasn't that LONG anymore!! wakakakak :p

We waited for babi, Jay and I were damn hungry cause we have breakfast only. Babi Sel's car was damn clean that day (cz of LimShiWen) you know why la... We arrived at Pyramid and others weren't there yet, so we queue for JCo~~ Then pig pig called, Nickie as well (but no one heard the phone ringing) pai seh la... We bought 3 Oreos, 1 glazzy, 1 dunno wat forest and 1 (forgot dy)

Dragon-i time, I choose Dragon-i cause of the TOFU and I wanted them to try as well because it's damn nice!! Nickie's favourite XiuLongBao, not bad la but I still prefer TOFU~~~ haha They love the TOFU too, except for Nic, she still prefer her Bao!! (really different line la Lingo ;p) There were 7 of us and we just ordered 3 main course, 3 side dishes and drinks. Cause there were 3 Gods (no need food still can survive geh God right?!)

After dinner, Golden Break pool session. I need to admit, I really dunno how to play de, I don't know how to put the stupid hands and fingers!! Last time, my bro got play, so I see him play lor, curi curi learn abit la.. haha.. I'm not that geng as shortie gang!! Still need to learn from them... I won babi!! wakkakaka Something to be proud of...

Karaoke time, luckily I'm not 4 times a week again or I'll die... This time hor, pig pig sang!! solo sumore!! wow~~ hahah.. The first time I heard her sing, not bad ma, need to memorise the lyrics more then ok ad!! hahaha And babi always sure pick that by2 song for me!! OMG~~ Then Jay Jay open her Jay concert!! ahahaha 2am, pig pig went back, left us 3 again!! Then bla bla bla, I didn't an lian anyone lor... Just too sensitive ad cause it's midnight!! Pai Seh la, let u all saw it!! hehe...

A fast one, cause I'm so lazy to blog out all of it. Sry~~

I've been staying in KL for about 2 weeks. When my friends came to KL and shop together, they wanted to shake-it. Cause Kuantan club, OMG!! So I decided to bring them to KL club, we chooses Maison at last because the clubs near my place were Coco Banana, MOS and BarCelona. I drove there and get lost for awhile because I seldom drive there. We ate McD before entering because all were damn hungry after a whole day shopping. Not much people at first and it's Thursday night wei, then more came in yet not that much though. We ordered Bacardi (again) and it's damn expensive compared to that bottle in Langkawi!! RM398 vs RM 48!! (cant really rmb the price, around that range la) damn big contrast le!! We were all girls, the only sista (guy) went back to Genting that day, TOO BAD!!! Had fun with them, we played tongue game AGAIN!!! Why?? Why always with liquor??!! Only God knows... ;p

Then Green and I decided to do a last, fast shopping!! ahhaha We took monorail to sg.wang there and walk to Pavilion. Running!! haha.. Then we bought cheese cakes too. The timing was just nice when we went back to the bus station and we say bye bye to KL. I got a early morning news from Locked telling how she fainted in front of her room after the liquor took action. Damn funny la!! And she scolded us for not taking her into her room!! I watch you walk into the house then how I know you will faint in front of yr room??!! HAHAHAHAHAHAH I thought you geng ma!! :p

I admit that I'm a bag freak. In total, I think I have around 30? Or more... Most were abundant, just a few I'm still using. I have all kinds of bags, from big bag, sling bag, handbag, backpack to even shoe bag. The cute, funky type, on-season bag to mature kinda bags, I just don't know when to use them.

The most memorable bag I bought was a Kelly Chen Secondhand Charity Sale GAP bag, that was in a Hong Kong shopping centre. Around RM150 if not mistaken, and the money goes to the Charity to help poor kids in China. It's the only bag I can afford to buy as others were damn branded and damn expensive.

The cutest bag also bought in Hong Kong. It's a love at first sight bag! Haha... It's available in many sizes and I had difficulties to choose between the smallest and the one I bought because both were damn cute!! Two eyes, tongue and with two white teeth... OMG, I just love it!! RM120 by Morn Creations

The new-est bag added into the list was the purple MNG sling bag, RM79 after a 50% discount. While I was wondering weather to buy it or not, my friends works like an angel and a devil beside me, telling me I already have lots of bags and the other side telling me the bag is nice - damn you!! I bought it at last and sling it immediately!! Wakakkaak

The most usable bag I have was a Nike, purple colour (again) shoulder bag. Yet, the ribbon at both sides were annoying because both sides ribbon will untie by themselves!! It's at KL now because I can't manage to bring it back to Kuantan and as a spare bag to use when I'm at KL. =p (not yet abundant)

Still, too much... Can't manage to tell the stories one by one like last time we were at school, teachers always ask us to write about "if you were a ... (bag) or bla bla bla", or "your favourite ... (bag?)".

I went shopping with my friends...

Sunway Pyramid - Pavilion - Sg.Wang (I don't shop there!! somehow hated that place!)

I told myself not to buy anything for a few reasons... Firstly, I've been using money, lots of money in my previous travel journeys. I bought many stuff from Hong Kong and Taiwan, KL too of course. So when they were in KL, I'm supposed to accompany them and they shop, not me!! Yet, I'm still shopping!! Shit-ta!

I bought 2 shirts, a scarf, a bag, a mirror and a freebra.... =(

The shirts and scarf I bought were on 50% sale!!! I can't resist not to buy it!!! 50% off wei!! And I can bring it to Melb next year, wearable in cold countries!!! As for the scarf, it's cute and warm, I'm going to cold country ma, so can use lor right?? =p I don't simply waste money de (although last time I did waste a lot) That bag, I saw it before in other outlet and it's in black, grey and brown colour, so they don't really caught my attention, yet the design took over my thinking-brain. But still, I don't love those colour. But... but... but... I saw PURPLE colour bag at Pavilion's outlet!! And I'm hanging around my shoulder once I found it!! I can't get rid of it cause it's purple!! My friend encourage me to buy sumore!! Aih... I knew I had tons of bags that I didn't manage to take them out for a walk, but it's a SLING-PURPLE-NICE BAG!!! Most of all, discounted!!! OMG!!! However, it's mine now~~ Huhu~~ Mirror mirror mirror, it's definitely a damn cute mirror, it's pink, not purple, but it's damn damn cute pig cartoon mirror and damn usable!! I'm bringing to Melb too!! Wakakkaa... =) For that freebra, just to try on and I need one as well... That's all!!!

Not that much right??!! Still okay la... But I'm going to Bangkok!!! Shit-ta again!!! Wholesale prices ler, wholesale shop everywhere!!! I have no more money and my closet is going to explode!!! It's torturing when you see people shop and you can't shop but you die die wanna shop!! HELP~~~ Like that day I saw many nice shoes, I just took up and look at it then put back where it belongs to cause I just bought 2 pairs in HK and 3 pairs in TW, I can't buy them anymore, my mum kept nagging me that I used 50% spaces of the shoe rack!!

I'm thinking off selling my unwanted clothes, bags, just anything else for RM5... haha.. then I can earn money and go shopping again.. Wait!!!!! What the heck!!! Stop thinking bout shopping!! I had enough!!! Save me!!! I wanna go Island, beach, just any places that shopping is not available there!!!

I waited for this trip quite awhile, I've been staying in KL for almost a week before going to Langkawi. It's kinda bored to wait (and I have no patient at all), luckily I still get to hang out with my friends. These were the drunkard femme and butches who went to Langkawi together.

Jessin (me) - so called neutral & gone wild in the end (thx to gay gay)

Nickie - our mom and the always 'sat geng' person (totally diff taste)

Selyn - the nice nice person then the betrayal (2 face CB!!)

Duty free Island!! WooHoo~~~ We rented an Avanza and a 3-rooms apartment. It's raining when we arrived!! Shit-ta-de-be-be (copyright Daphne) So we went to hunt for night fun stuff - beer, liquor, snacks, chocolates, maggi and cigarretes. Yup!! It's a so-not-healthy trip... Anyhow, that's the fun!! Damn cheap wei!!!

After a ok-ok dinner near Chenang Beach, get ice cubes, then we headed back to the apartment. The fun begins with playing cards and Heineken beer, the smallest number drinks. I'm the first loser, from their facial expression, I knew it!! Then the game goes on with more and more excitement. The next stage, pure apple Bacardi with ice. I kena the most, with almost full cup each!! (thanks to Daphne!!!) We played dare game too!! OMG... my first...!!! Gone!!! Danee and Jay got drunk easily (but they drank a lot) Daphne too (but she drank a little), Alexis and Selyn drank the least, while Nickie and I finished all liquor!! H0lly-ma-ma, we finished the whole bottle within an hour!! We were drunk, 6/7 of us vomited, except for Alexis, the witness of almost everything!! The story teller...

Then many funny, disgusting, enjoying, can't-remember event took place... OMG!!! I really can't remember some parts, gone missing and I'm bloody drunk. So don't mention it!! I'm not using my brain ok... Sshhhh......

Noon, we drove to the cable car station. Daphne, Selyn, Nickie and I went up the mountain, Alexis, Danee and Jay went back resting in the apartment. There was a long queue there, we waited an hour plus for the cable car, but it's really worthful! The scenery up there was magnificent, windy, cooling and just so so so relaxing. The bridge was awesome too, hanging between 2 mountains with great sense of architecture. It's a piece of art work! We sat up the top view place for awhile with light coke, damn syok wei!! We just don't want to get down back there. We were thinking like steamboat, BBQ, Starbucks, KFC up there. The view from up was 海连天，天连海, can't even see where's my favourite horizontal line between the sky and the sea. It's breath-taking!! Until I can't stand on the cold, we went to the station waiting for cable car. Again, it's a long queue, another hour maybe, I had no idea. The wind just freeze me up from no where. Daphne and Selyn did a funny chicken dance on the bench up there, and many people saw it!! Damn funny... haha

Alexis, Danee and Jay came pick us up for dinner. We wanted to go to the beach before dinner, but the sky was dark and some were already in hunger. We ate a Malay cuisine with main dish of ikan bakar, but the ikan bakar was a total disaster. Luckily other sea foods and vegetables were good enough to satisfy us and the price was affordable. We went shopping for duty free souvenirs - wine, liquor, chocolates and cigarettes (I just love dark chocolate!! =}). Then back to apartment again. Nickie went into bed while we play truth or dare game in another room. That was a conscious game, without alcohol, and it's difficult to play!! There were lots of creative, no plagiarise ideas of questions and dare actions. The game lasted until 3.30am, then a little chit-chatting at the living room before bed.

Last day, we had Daphne's favourite KFC blunch, finally, after 3 days of heart-breaking KFC no chicken lie at the airport the day we fly to Langkawi!! Finger licking good huh??! Sick of CHICKENS!!!

It's a rainy post, yet a memorable one!!

Port Dickson

We had a free night stay over Port Dickson at the water chalet. Since my dad is having his regular check up in KL, so we decided to drive an hour more to PD. My dad told me that me loves travelling more than before because he has a driver!! (obviously it's me) =.= Anyway, as long as I get to travel, doesn't matter if I'm the driver or what so ever.

PD, I remembered I been there before but when I was still very young, dad said PD changed a lot. We check in to the chalet room around 3pm. The room has 2 look down water windows on the floor, but no fishes at all. Fair to say, the sea there was not what I expected. Maybe it's polluted, green green blue colour, not those crystal clear sea water.

I wanted to get a swim in the pool but it's kinda pack so I just walked around while my parents were sleeping in the room. Then I went back to the room for jacuzzi, then a short nap. Nothing much happening there, fishing rot for rent, some games and sports. It's a nice place to relax, those really relax, relax. Quiet and calm environment, good for reading.

Evening, my parents and I went out for the sunset. They posed funny poses but it came out quite well in the pictures!! Oii, you both add up over 100 years old lor!! still so sweet, me alone single see u all sweet lar??!! ahahah... =p

Then we drove out for dinner, a seafood dinner with fresh crab and fish!! I just love seafood so much although contain high cholesterol. Who cares... Travel and living it's life!! (and food of course!) We bought some peanuts and fruits back to the chalet. And I found Tora, a childhood candy with toys inside!! I can't find it in Kuantan anymore...

Back in the water chalet, mum brought along the Heineken from Taiwan, it's huge and cute!! 750ml a can. We talked and chat at the balcony, watching various planes flu by every 3 minutes. Then bed time for them.

The next morning, after a short swim at the pool, we checked out heading to Seremban. What you think of Seremban?? Siew bao of course!! Yumm yumm~~ We bought a few boxes and drive back to KL.

I hate M'sia road sign!!!!

It took me almost an hour to that place near Ampang or Cheras, argh.. Wherever the place is!!

I drive down from Kuantan, reach KL about 5pm and fetched my brother from college, then straight to the Look Out Point for dinner.

I thought I knew the way up but the traffic jam and tiredness took my mind off, and I'm so pissed of to find the right way up the hill. We stopped and ask, drive through housing area and dead ends, and finally saw that freaking road sign 2 minutes away from that particular place. What the hell to put a freaking sign board when you're almost there? Brainless!!!

Luckily we catches on the sunset view. We had our dinner there, enjoying the night view of KL from above, this chill me down from finding the way up. The dinner was not so good, I prefer the other dinner I ate with friends the week before.

The scenery was so nice that I can't wait to bring my family members there for a romantic dim-light dinner. After dinner, we walk up the tower shooting pictures, then back to Sunway area. I'm so so so tired and slept at 11.40pm!!

I'm so happy when I flipped back those old folders in my hard disk, seeing those photos we took last time... The happy sweet memories flashes back in my mind and I love it. Hope we can be like always... happy, joyful and being with each others. No extra problems, no unnecessary friends, no rumours...

I miss you all lar... I scare that I can't bare with the moment I'm leaving you all. I know it's still like 3 months to go but time do fly, clock do kept tick-thocking. I wish I could spend all the time with you all and also my family.

Too bad to say I'm not sitting for STPM, it's a good thing!!! Cause, who on Earth wanna take this exam?? Study like hell and it's a 1 and a half years of schooling. The text books are damn thick wei, and it's 100% based on examination!! OMG... I'm lucky to get rid of those Malay text book!!

To all my friends out there, it's a tough one and I'm here wishing u all the best throughout the exam period!! I knew you all studied very hard for this because you all were not free to hang out with me... =( haha... just kidding... I understand your situation... I really do... I'm proud of you all!!!

We can still meet up after the stupid STPM exam is over. Then we can hang out EVERYDAY like those days... Promise??!! I will see you all then... and for this period, GOOD LUCK!!! Don't freak out, it's just another exam in life, we did UPSR, PMR and SPM. It's just SPM + T right??!! Not so horrible la... I know you will make it!!

And for those in Colleges and Universities, you all are having final exams soon too, very very soon... I hope all CIMPians good luck too in their finals and see you all graduate as well!!

Daddy's birthday!! <3

Nov 6 was my beloved daddy's birthday. I woke up late in the morning, okay.. it's noon... and both my parents were off for breakfast... without me!!! =(

So I stayed home waiting for food. Then I decided to go buy a birthday cake for my dad to surprise him before he's coming home. I went out and bought a mocha coffee cake. I love mocha!! Then when my dad finally came home and went up to his room, I light on the candles and sing the birthday song while walking in his room. Mum was there as well. =)

Love you DAD.

I custom made a birthday card for him too. With all his beloved dogs on it!! Hehe...

Evening, a horrifying drive occurred in a rainy day up the hills. Cause it's manual and 4 wheels so I have some difficulties driving it up the hills. It's rolling down hill man!!! Scary wei~~ I need to drive more in manual.. Definitely!!!

Dinner time... We went to an Chinese restaurant for dinner because obviously he's a china-Chinese man and he needs rice. My grandma came along as well. We ordered shark, fish, meat and vege. Plus a bottle of red wine~~ Hehe... Celebrate daddy's birthday ma... He's so generous, supposed to be my mum to paid for all these right?? huh mummy??!!

Then I hop into bus at 11pm, going to Kota Bharu to help my aunt in a yoga and step aerobic performance...

p/s: the cake came out in the afternoon because my mum didn't make any lunch for us!!! So it's better for lunch instead for after dinner desert.

Taiwan

ElLooo... I'm back again...

Erm... The trip was.... let me think... Not bad la... I just don't like too much of the journey, prefer the sight seeing, shopping and some of the food indeed. The island touring in the bus took of half the trip. =( Luckily I brought my iPod with me. If not, I would be so dead...

Taipei台北 - Yehliu野柳 - Jiufen九份 - Hualien花莲 - Kaohsiung高雄 - Sun Moon Lake日月潭 - Nantou南投 - Taipei台北

A 7 days tour around the island. There was 29 of us in total, mainly from KL and my mum, Auntie Chee, Ee Van (auntie Chee's daughter) and me were from Kuantan.

The very first stop in Taiwan was XiMenDing 西门丁, we arrived there around 10pm and most of the shop were closing. We just went there for dinner/supper at the famous noodle 阿宗面线. There was no place to sit, peoples were just standing outside the shop eating noodles. After that, we walked around XiMenDing, finding the recommended food and drinks by the tour guide. By 12am, we went back to the hotel for some sleep.

Morning call was at 6.30am. I never woke up this early since I finished secondary school. Breakfast in the hotel and up we went into the bus heading to the popular spot in Taipei. Liberty Square 自由广场 was the first destination, the memorial square of Chiang Kai Shek. Lim (the tour guide) told us many politics story in Taiwan that linked to this particular place.

Next destination was Martyr's Shrine 忠烈祠, where we waited to see the soldiers marching ceremony with Japan tourists as well. The place dedicated to people who sacrificed their lives for the country, brave soldiers who protect their country no matter what happens. Does my country have these kinda people? I hope there are, cause I'm not one of them (but I do love my country sometimes, just sometimes...) =p

National Palace Museum 国立故宫博物院 was one of the must-visit-museum on Earth. Lim said so because it contains Chinese history and culture, plus I'm Chinese. I finally saw how CiXi Queen 慈禧太后 look like. I always heard bout her but haven't had the chance to see in real origin picture. The famous Jadeite Cabbage with Insects 翠玉白菜 was gorgeous too. Lots of things to see inside the museum but I don't have the time to see all, just some popular pieces. It's already 97 years after the last dynasty ended, not too long ago though.

The bus then took us to Yehliu, the landscape there was totally different and the scenery was magnificent. The rock there has their own shape and I didn't seen before in other places and it's huge! How cool was that. I'm the last person leaving because I went down to the rock for pictures. Nature is just magical.

We continue our trip to Jiufen. A place where it's name came from the history of people living there many years ago. Once upon a time, there was only 9 families staying up the hill. Every time they wanted meat and vegetables, representative of either one family will go down town to order their supplies and always buying nine portions. This was how the name created and Jiufen means nine portion in Chinese. The small little town located up the hill and has their own streets which were very unique in their own way. I bought a wooden hand made slipper there, it's so cute... The food there were good too especially the Tang Yuen 汤圆 soup.

We spend a night in Hualien. The next morning, we went to visit the Marble City, Marble factory, just all about marble. It's the second largest marble supplier besides Italy. The Taroko National Park 太魯閣國家公園 also called Taroko Gorge was beautiful, surrounded by marble hills. Lim also told us that Hualien has the most frequent earthquakes in Taiwan, about 1500 times per month, most of them were minors so we can't really feel it. After visiting the factory, we watched the Taiwan aborigines - Ami show in theater, dancing and singing.

About 7 hours bus journey to Kaohsiung, it's killing me in the bus. When we arrived at Kaohsiung, we were dropped down at Liuhe night market 六合夜市 for dinner. We had Coffin Bread 棺材板, QQ noodle 担担面，Chicken butt 七里香, paper bun 胡椒饼， bitter melon honey juice 苦瓜蜂蜜 and papaya milk 木瓜牛乳. There were many artists' signatures on the board of the juice stall. Later around midnight, we and some other tour mates went to another market called Ruifen 瑞芬夜市 for some shopping then to the Love River 爱河 for sight seeing.

The next destination was FoGuangShan 佛光山, where the Master Hsing Yun 星云大师 who established the temple. I saw monks with different nationalities enlightening their lives there, it's so international and I'm so proud of Chinese culture and believes. The place was big and we again have no time to visit all spots.

Get into the bus again and we were off to Sun Moon Lake. It's another tourist attraction. The place been through a earthquake disaster 10 years ago and all the building were flat down except 1 hotel. The temple and the other hotels were all newly build. The scenery there was breath-taking. At the temple, my mum and I hanged a wishing bell there to gain protection for our family, thank God. The aborigines living there knew some Malay language as their ancestors came from somewhere near our country. I also wear on their costume and took some pictures.

At night, we stayed on a hot spring hotel up YuShan 玉山, the highest mountain area in Taiwan, around 3990m. There were aborigines performance too and D.I.Y Tang Yuen soup provided. After dinner, we enjoy the outdoor hot spring together. It's so nice being in the outdoor hot spring. =)

Finishing our tour in Taipei, we went to Taipei 101. Ee Van and I went up to 88,89,91 floor. The night view of Taipei was so so so so beautiful, just like the stars. There was a outdoor part on 91st floor, but it's a very safe one. The lift took just 37 seconds to reach up 89 floor and my ears were like going in a tunnel, I don't know what that feeling called. ;p

We had dinner at Shilin night market 士林夜市, the most popular night market around Taiwan. We had Big Cookie wrapping Small Cookie (it's the name!!) 大饼包小饼, huge chicken chop 豪大大鸡排, bubble milk tea 珍珠奶茶, Big hot dog wrapping small hot dog 大肠包小肠, Frog lay eggs (a kind of jelly drink) 青蛙下蛋 , huge hot dog 大香肠 and many more. We shared each food, 6 of us and we were still full like heck. Can't eat all food though, too bad.

The last day was a free and easy day, that means - SHOPPING DAY!! First stop - SOGO, then under ground market and last was XiMenDing. We bought plenty plenty stuff. The clothes in Taiwan were cheap, not that expensive as M'sia. I bought almost everything from head to toe, hat, cosmetics, mask, clothes, scarf, shoes, socks even tooth brush cause it says whitening tooth brush. I can't name all the things we bought, it's too much... The last dinner we had very delicious, a curry house. I just love the food!! The less-hot, medium-hot and very-hot cartoon were s cute!!

Back to hotel and we started packing, then we woke up at 5.30am to prepare leaving Taiwan. In the airport, there was a Hello Kitty place, it's damn cute wei!! (although I'm not a Kitty fan but it's adorable!!) I bought my favourite dark chocolate and get back to M'sia.

Nothing-to-do live is really BORED!!! 4 more months to go before getting back to study life... OMG, how I should survive for the following months??

HELP!!!~~

Most of all, I went surgery and took out my wisdom tooth on my right hand side. It's a huge one!! Half my face gone numb and I felt so "cacat". I can't move half of my face for hours and it's horrible. Now I know how the disable people felt in reality. It's really embarrassing and suffering. I'm glad that I'm a healthy baby!! By the way, after they threw my tooth into the bin, I asked them for my tooth. Haha. I took it home, brush it and kept it!! Fairy tooth huh?? The days with eating difficulties finally had past, now I can eat whatever I want. J.Co anyone??

I went to "urut" my legs 2 days ago and surprisingly, the auntie also went up Mt.Kinabalu last year. We talked while she "urut-ing" me, all about the journey. She didn't went up to the peak, just to the rest house. She told me that she saw a big, long, gigantic pitcher plant along the way. Unfortunately I didn't see it, I just saw the normal-size pitcher plants. =( We chat like we were good friends and she was 62 when she went up the mountain!! How cool is that!!!~ So people, make yr way up!!

The time shows 2.30am now, and I'll have a long driving to do after breakfast heading to KL with my mum. The plans for Saturday are lunch and dinner with my beloved friends. For the whole long period I'm at Kuantan, my out-studying Kuantan friends were telling me they're coming back today!! 4 of them!! Why... Why the time that I'm going out and you all coming back??!! Sad la... Really sad... Can't hang out with you all.

The major event this month is... TaDa... Taiwan 7 days trip!! It's been awhile since my family and I travel in tour. The previous tour travelling was to GuiLin, China, 4 years back if not mistaken. Then the following vacations were all by ourselves, driving across Australia and New Zealand. So, I'm looking forward to the coming Taiwan tour trip planned nicely by travel agency, no need me to see the maps, spot for accommodations and so on!!~ Hope it's a interesting trip though.

Got to get some sleep now. Will be back with Taiwan's culture next month... See ya!!

New Camera & Doggies~~

There's a dog show at Kuantan right after the day I bought the DSLR. So I got a chance to learn and to get my hands on the camera outdoor for the very first time. Unfortunately I'm not that familiar with the buttons and so on. And here's some of my shots of the day. Doggies!!!

By the way, my dad's dog won 2 champions and a runner up, getting bunch of dog food back home. Congrats to MAC and the trainer, my daddy.

The first few photos are my lovely pet dogs at home. Yet, I love the Husky, everyone at the dog show love it!!! It's a wonderful day because I get to met with tons of dogs and they were all adorable!! I can't get my hands off them, they're so cute!!! Especially the puppies for sale, I really hope that I could fetch one of them back home as a pet but each cost RM800 and I already had 6 dogs at home. So a total NO-WAY from my mum for sure.

Dogs are man's best friends. Wow~~

Okay, there's too many to be written down, so I decided to make it short.

Done with my Hong Kong trip, I went back to K.L, hang out with my KL friends for a drink in Puchong.

The next day, my mum suddenly called me and said she had 2 tickets to Sammi Cheng's concert at Genting Highland. I drove to Genting with my bro, met my mum down hill, then drove up to the highland to watch the concert. Right after the concert, I drove home to Kuantan.

My knee seems to be okay weeks back, but it became painful after a swim in the beach, maybe I kicked to hard while swimming. Now the pain is back, so I need to take some rest from yoga and steps. Just get some walk in the park nearby for recovery, need to keep them moving.

These days were bored, damn bored, till death. I stay at home watching Astro all day long, life seems so meaningless. Then my mum planned a trip to Taiwan as my dad leave us to Kenyir Dam for boat fishing with his friends. HooRay~~~ Taiwan, Travel is my passion!!!

Another excitement today, my dad bought me a DSLR camera, Canon 1000D. My bro and I wanted a SLR for so long and finally is in my hands, but I need to learn a lot before shooting great pictures. Stay tune~~~

All to say, THANK YOU DAD AND MUM, I LOVE YOU ALL~~~ hehe... It's yr only daughter here (man gam 万金 [not cin gam 千金] ;p cz i'm so different from those 千金) and I know you guys spend a lot money on me. I will study hard, I promise!!!

Hong Kong

Laziness triggers my nerves again... So damn lazy to blog these days. I just stays at home doing nothing, eat, sleep, exercise and movie, that's all in Kuantan.

Not long ago, I went to Hong Kong with my ex-housemate, Amy on the 22 to 25 Sept. I went to KL on 21 and met her up in condo then way off to the airport at 4.30 in the morning.

This was the first time I went oversea with my friend and just 2 of us. I'm so excited. Travel, life's back for me. Yeah~~

We reached HK about 10 in the morning and checked into the hotel, prepared and here goes the vacation. We both were hungry because we just had our breakfast in the airport back in M'sia. The first discovery of HK was the Tsing Ma Bridge, we way pass the bridge by bus to the hotel. My tummy was sounding for food, especially HK food. So the first meal I ate in HK was dumpling noodle (wan ton mee). Firstly, I was shocked seeing the prices on the menu, cost about 27HKD for a bowl of noodle, but then I noticed that the living expenses there were way higher than M'sia.

After filling up our stomach, we went shopping. Amy been to HK several times so she is very familiar with the ways, that's why my mum was not worried. The whole day, we went shopping at Causeway Bay. Time Square and the streets nearby. There were plenty of shops, from there I only knew why people call HK a shopping paradise. That's so true.

After shopping, we went to Tsim Sha Tsui to see the spectacular A Symphony of Lights, one of the World's Largest Permanent Light and Sound Show by the Guinness World Records, every night 8pm sharp. Due to load of tourists, Amy and I sat down on the floor infront the audiences. The show was incredible and it's FOC!!! How cool was that, wonderful lights of HK, just like the starts below sky. Then we walked around Avenue of Starts feeling the Hollywood of the East with actors and artists hand prints such as Jacky Chan, statue of Bruce Lee and many more.

Next morning, we woke up at 9am heading to the MRT station after breakfast at a restaurant nearby. The milk tea (Teh Si/Nai Cha) in HK was awesome. It's a must try when you're in HK. We bought tickets to the Ocean Park and went there by bus. The second we reach the entrance, rain falls. Oh My... Fortunately, we saw that some facilities were closed due to the rain, and the ticket was valid till 31 Dec. That mean we can visit the next day or the day after. So we went shopping again, but today was the famous Ladies' Market, Mong Kok and Cheung Sha Wan Road Fashion Street. Paradise Again... Oww~~~

Later in the noon, Typhoon Hagupit brought rains and strong winds in town, and it's a No.8 storm. I never felt it before as this won't happen in M'sia. Amy and I went into shopping malls, the stores closed and people rushing by to get home. News from radio and TVs telling the newest report, schools stop for the next day too. From the TV news, I saw what's happening outside, rains and storm. Amy and I stayed in the shopping mall for dinner because the MRT station will be packed like sardine at that moment.

Dinner was No.1 rice noodle with fish in HK. I ate Smelly TouFu (chou tofu) for my snack earlier, not that bad though because I love Tofu. Another dessert store name Hui Lau San was Amy's favorite and she visit the chain store every single day and it's nice for sure. When the rain stops, we went back to the hotel, and it's 7 in the evening. It was one of the best shopping day.

3rd day, the sky was still looking dull, small rain and light wind. We called to Ocean Park again to check out. Yet, still there were some facilities not functioning. Amy and I then when to the Harbor Shopping mall as the weather was not that cheerful. Noon time, we went to Dou Heong Steamboat and Dim Sum for lunch, recommended by Amy's friend. We ordered a satay base soup with meats, veges and some famous Dim Sum to try on. That meal was fantastic, truly shows HK trademark of food but we pay on great money in return. Another shopping day to go on.

At night, we went back to the hotel for some rest then walk on to the beach. There was another popular tourist spot, the Admitary. With a big real gold flower statue present from China to HK for their return to join China country. A giant turtle building beside symbolising HK returning back from the sea. It's a significant moment of time, everyday morning, there will have a respect ceremony of raising the flags. We walked around Wan Zai then headed to a small restaurant for dinner. I ate a delicious fish ball noodle (yu dan fan) then takeaway a cup of herbal tea way to the basketball court nearby. Looking at handsome guys playing my favorite sport, unfortunately there were no girls playing, if could, I would like to play with them.

The next morning, lady luck shine on us, the sky look sunny and all facilities were functioning that day. I'm so excited because it's the park that I wanted to visit so long ago, watching on TV shows. Now I'm finally here, I wanna see dolphins!! We took a map of Ocean Park and begin our adventure. First to the theme park with all adrenaline drifting games. I almost played all facilities twice, the crazy roller coaster, adventure to the sky and pirate boat. The feeling of excitement was back in me, remembering my bungee jump when I sat on adventure to the sky.

After all excitements, we had McD for lunch. Next was the Ocean Park most popular show. The theatre was pack with peoples. The show was fantastic, dolphins and sea gulls performing. I love it!!! This was the first time I can really see dolphins, how amazing. The show ended after 45 minutes. Our plane flying back to M'sia just few hours further. Taking the breath-taking cable car down hill to the main entrance, I wanted to see the pandas but the clock keep on ticking. I can't see them, it's my only regret to HK. We took our luggage and went to the airport. Having our last dinner there, a famous spaghetti chain store in HK and say bye to this beautiful city.

The public transport in HK was definitely awesome, you can walk to anywhere easily all are so convenience and well-organized. I love Hong Kong!!! Although Hagupit was there, but I really had a great time in HK with Amy. Thanks Amy, love you.

Kota Bharu

I'm back... finally... sorry for late updates, quite busy and a little lazy to blog... hehe...

So... here's another vacation, but a special one cz it's an eating vacation, mainly about food. Kota Bharu is really a good place for food, just like a food paradise... yum yum~~~

Kao Zam it's green rice because it cook with vegetable sauce, serve in fish or chicken together with onion and crackers.

Fish and Frog Mee Hoon Soup, the fish is damn fresh and the soup is so sweet. I just love it.

Here, my aunt with Keropok Lekor from Terrenganu and me with corn from Cameron Highland.

Spicy Eel, it's a kind of Thai food, very very spicy. I can't tahan the hot but still delicious, and really can't tahan stop to poke the ell into my plate. ;p

Pork hand, the surface layer is crispy and the meat is soft. Although it's fat but who cares??!!

Then I went to beach yoga with instructor from Kuantan, I didn't participate because my leg was hurt due to the KK climb, so I'm the photographer for the session. The beach yoga came out in one of the Chinese News Paper reporting my aunt organising the event. Me myself went yoga and steps too in Kuantan.

Next was a restaurant beside the railway with train passing by almost every hour.

The favourite dish is coconut bakar chicken, available only THERE, no where else. It's unique and nevertheless yummy~~~ I went back stage to the kitchen to take picture of the bakar process.

The meat (I forgot the name of this dish) but still remember that it's mainly serve in local wedding ceremony.

Then it's the Prawn with Dong Fun (a kind of noodle) cook in milk. Nice...

Another dinner with sotong, fried rice, lala, fish, vege and crab. The fish was damn yummy, it's sour and spicy.

The crab was my favourite too, with Dong Fun full of the crab sauce... Ichiban...

At last, a home made noodle Ban Mee from my aunt. Delicious and yummy, better than those that we found in restaurants. It's true....

Some meals/dish I didn't take photos because it's too delicious that I just kept eating and forgot about the pictures... Haha...

Kota Kinabalu - Last Day

Last day of Kinabalu trip...
We went out in groups, not together. I followed MAP and JC together with Darwin, May and Nadia out to an island nearby. I just can't say NO to island. Think of those beautiful beaches and golden colour sand with breezing salty air, I'm way off to Manukan Island.

After breakfast and packing, we put our luggage into the store room at the youth hostel and walk to the port. On the way, we buy fruits and drinks. The boat trip was just a short 15 minutes to reach the island. I'm so excited because Sabah famous for it's Islands and I love beach.

On the boat, we took photos. Feeling the air rushing through, and the island approaching us, I just can't stop pressing the shooting button on my camera. The island is small yet beautiful. The water was clear and we can see fishes from above. Then the wooden trail lead us to the main entrance of Manukan Island.

MAP and JC were off for swimming and reading. May, Darwin, Nadia and I were doing photo shots. There were a small exhibit of World War II boms. We walked through the trail, then we saw some colourful thingy, it's called Scuba-doo. A under water motor that you can sit on to see the world underneath. Unfortunately, we all didn't tried. Nadia went to change her swim suit, then we were walking along the beach.

When Nadia was out, she went swimming too. When I see them swim, I just can't stand the feeling of jumping into the sea. It's seducing me!!! So I jumped in. I didn't want to swim because I don't have anymore extra shirt to change later, so I'm telling myself I will not go into the sea. Yet, it's really seductive. OMG~~ I just jump in with clothes, and all the word - RELIEVE... I just really love the beach, the sea and the sky!!!

After swimming, we went to play Uno cards AGAIN. Haha.... Uno was so accessible anywhere, on the plane, the bus, by the beach, just simply anywhere. Then I brought chips from a store 20 steps away. Finishing my pack of chips, MAP brought another one. Then May and Darwin brought another 3 packs. Same brand of chips and we had Cheese flavor and Onion and sour cream flavor. All chips~~ I brought a coconut to refresh myself and dry my clothes on me.

Although it's a 2 hours getaway island from the town, it's my day. I enjoy it. I still can't believe that I went to such a beautiful island in the morning and way back to Kota Kinabalu town in the afternoon. Before going back to the hostel, we went to the handicraft shops to do some last shopping. I brought a t-shirt and rush back for a bath in the hostel. It's a Mt.Kinabalu t-shirt for just RM15.

When all other members ready, the cabs were waiting downstairs for the journey to end at the airport. When we were done with the check-in, I went to KFC for a meal, a last meal in KK. Bye KK~~~

On the plane, Uno cards again, but before the games, MAP took his camera walking here and there to shoot the sleeping ones. I'm not sleeping, so I see him shot and all were damn funny!!! We arrived at LCCT airport around 7p.m. Saying goodbye to them with a group photo before entering the bus. Hugs from them to me and saying goodbye, take care as I transit to Kota Bharu at 9p.m. I went to the cafe for light dinner then check-in way to my next destination, I called it a food vacation.
